E-mail Print PDF

Last weekend we went to the local pumpkin patch and got some SWEET pumpkins. They were large and smelled really great.

Last night was Halloween. It tasted really great.

Renaissance Festival

E-mail Print PDF

We had a great weekend. Friday night, Melissa had a sleepover at her friend Delaney's house. My Mom was in town and took Marcia, Bella and I to Encore for dinner. Saturday I had to work, Bella had Nutcracker practice most of the afternoon, and then we took Melissa to a birthday party at Sports Connection. While she was at the party, Marcia, Bella and I went bowling. We suck.

Today, we went to the Renaissance Festival. It was great! It was the girls first time. Melissa said it was "cool!" Bella said the same thing. They both liked the "bungee bouncing" the best. See the photo album.

Yes, We Are Alive

E-mail Print PDF

OK, so I've been bad about posting updates for a while. And we've been bad about taking pictures. But anyway ...

Everything is lovely. Bella is auditioned recently for the Nutcracker and is going to be a mouse. She is very excited. She is also doing weekly dance and acro classes. Melissa is still playing soccer and loves it. She plays goalkeeper. They got trounced today, 9-0 though. They were in first place and that was the second place team so now they are in second place. Next week is the last game and it's against that same team so our hopes are high. Marcia is now Melissa's Assistant Coach and I have started helping with goalkeeper coaching.

Our house is still for sale. We have not had a showing in like two weeks. Enough about that.

Otherwise, life is beautiful because we are alive. We hope you are doing lovely as well.

Crowders Mountain (Revisited)

E-mail Print PDF

Yesterday, we took a short day trip to Crowders Mountain. We went there last year kind of on a whim to check it out and ended up climbing to the top of Kings Mountain (right next to Crowders). We all made it fine including Simon. So this time we went to the top of Crowders which is a bit bigger. Again, we all made it find with the addition of Cookie who probably did better than any of us.
